Gegharot waterfall, running down from the height of 17 m, is located ~11 km north-west of Aragats village, on the slopes of Aragats Mount of Aragatsotn province, at an altitude of 3000 m above sea level. It is very alike Trchkan waterfall. During wintertime the waterfall freezes and one can admire the breathtaking patterns on the water. Gegharot waterfall is included in the list of nature monuments of Republic of Armenia.
